A DRIVER has been clocked doing 107mph on a Fife road.
Police stopped the motorist on the A92 during routine patrols and confirmed a report would now be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
Posting on Twitter following the stop on Wednesday, officers stated: "FifeRP patrolling the A92, driver stopped travelling at 107mph in a 70mph limit putting themselves and others at risk.
"Speeding, Stopped, Charged, Reported to @COPFS "Speeding is one of the #Fatal5 there is no excuse. Please slow down and help keep our roads safe."
The latest stop follows a police crackdown across roads in Central and West Fife at the weekend.
Fixed penalty notices were handed to motorists caught on the A92, B981 and the B921 on Saturday.
Speeds recorded ranged from 86mph to 90mph, and the drivers involved were issued with fixed penalties of £100 and three points on their licences.
