A DRIVER who was speeding at 111 mph in Fife failed a drugs test after a car chase with police.
Officers said yesterday (Thursday) that they had clocked the ton-up motorist on the A92.
They were forced to pursue the vehicle after the driver failed to stop.

Posting on Road Policing Scotland's Twitter page, officers stated: "Fife Road Policing observed a vehicle travelling at 111mph on the A92.
"The vehicle failed to stop and our officers gave pursuit before stopping the vehicle a short time later.
"The driver failed the drug wipe test and will be reported for numerous road traffic offences to the procurator fiscal."
