GET READY to get funky as disco takes over Dunfermline next week as the hit tribute show takes the stage at the Alhambra.

Lost in Music, a concert show all about the funky tunes of the Disco is sure to transport its audiences back to the groovy 70s on Friday, November 17 at 7.30 pm.

James Taylor, producer of the hit touring concert-show, said: "It was a time when Motown Records’ biggest stars began to get funky.

"Philadelphia Records became a hit song conveyor belt with its distinctive combination of soulful vocals and lush arrangements and, soundtracks of movies – from Shaft to Car Wash – lifted the world to its dancing feet.

“Lost in Music fondly remembers the height of the disco era, faithfully recreating the biggest hits of Donna Summer, Earth Wind and Fire, Gloria Gaynor, Chaka Khan, Chic, Diana Ross, Harold Melvin and the Bluenotes, Sister Sledge and more."

With a toe-tapping score of tunes from hit tours such as the Magic of Motown, Fastlove, The Rocket Man and Thank You for the Music, this show is sure to get everyone dancing.

James continued: "Lost in Music is by far our liveliest production. It’s non-stop dance anthems from curtain up."

Tickets for the tribute show are on sale now and can be purchased from the Alhambra website or by calling their box office on 01383 740384.
