In the days after Jake's death a 14-year-old boy was arrested and charged with a drugs offence, he was released "pending further enquiries", and two more arrests have now been made.

A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed: “Three people have been arrested and charged in connection with drug offences, two males aged 14 and 21 and a 23-year-old woman.

“Enquiries remain ongoing.”

Jake's death is still being treated as "unexplained" with police trying "to establish the full circumstances".

His sister, Francesca Louise, paid tribute to her "bubbly and funny" brother and said she won't "ever be able to get over losing him".

She previously told the Times: "Jay had a heart of gold, he would help anyone out no matter what it would be, and he would be grateful if someone ever gave him help because we grew up in the care system so we never really had a good upbringing.

"It took a lot for him to come out of his shell but he became confident as soon as he let his guard down.

"He was bubbly and funny, he would tell little jokes, sometimes silly jokes that weren't even funny but you would still laugh because that’s his sense of humour."
