A section of a main road through Lochgelly is set for overnight closures later this month to allow for bridge repairs.
Station Road will be closed from its junction with Stationhead Road to the junction at Colquhally Road overnight between 10pm and 6am from Monday, January 15, until Thursday, January 18, or earlier if the works have been completed.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic is via Station Road, Auchterderran Road, Jamphlars Road, Woodend Road, Kinglassie Road, B9097, B920, Lochleven Road, Main Street and Main Road.
Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained.
The closure is to enable repairs to the bridge carrying the railway line to be carried out safely.
