AN EVENING of entertainment in Crossgates has revved up a total of £2,000 for charity.
The Lodge St John No 540 held their annual fundraiser on Sunday to help their chosen charity for 2024, Blood Bikes Scotland.
The entertainment featured male vocalists Kirk James and John Davidson and the evening was compered by singer-comedian Robbie Carran.
Colin Weaver, the Worshipful Junior Warden of Lodge St. John No. 540 and a volunteer with Blood Bikes Scotland, accepted the cheque from Brother Girvan Easton Right Worshipful Master on behalf of the charity.

Blood Bikes Scotland is a volunteer-run organisation which provides critical support to the Scottish healthcare system. Relying on a team of dedicated volunteers and their motorcycles, they deliver blood, plasma, and other essential medical supplies to hospitals across the country.
A spokesperson for the Lodge said: "The event proved to be a resounding success, raising a significant sum for a worthy cause.
"Lodge St. John No. 540's commitment to charitable giving and Blood Bikes Scotland's dedication to patient care made this a truly commendable partnership."
